Union Keys is a multidisciplinary cultural and artistic project inspired by the idea of union as an experience recalled from memory and lived in the present. The project adopts the key as a symbol of passage, trust, and belonging, presenting it as an object that carries the story of place — an artifact meant to be carried, opening a doorway into the spirit of the UAE and its living memory.
Through seven keys representing the seven Emirates, the project translates this idea of union into a cohesive visual system grounded in balance and diversity. Each key carries the character and narrative of its place, forming together a shared language that reflects unity through difference.
Developed through three-dimensional design, the pieces integrate Arabic calligraphy and heritage-inspired patterns with a contemporary treatment of form and material, creating a dialogue between craftsmanship and precision.
Union Keys unfolds through symbolic objects, cultural gifts, and visual applications that inhabit exhibitions, institutions, and public spaces, accompanying moments of arrival and transition. In doing so, the project moves beyond representation, transforming identity into a tangible experience rooted in place and memory.
